A Taste of Our Heritage
Founded in 2016, Taheni Cafe & Grill is a family-owned and operated restaurant dedicated to sharing authentic Middle Eastern flavors with the New York area. Our journey began with a passion for cooking passed down from our mother, whose recipes are at the heart of everything we create.
A Family of Professionals
Our family is made up of nine siblings who are deeply involved in our daily operations. Together, we bring diverse expertise to our business, with backgrounds in engineering, psychology, business, accounting, biology, and math. In 2016, we decided to combine our skills and open our first restaurant in Brooklyn, NY.
From Brooklyn to Lindenhurst
The path was not easy, but our first Brooklyn location opened many doors. We then expanded to Columbus Circle in Manhattan. To bring more ease to our family's life, we made a significant move to Lindenhurst, NY. This location now serves as a major milestone for our future growth.

We are proud to be a part of the community and believe in supporting our neighbors, a value inspired by our mother. She always took pride in feeding those who needed assistance, and we've instilled those same morals in Taheni Cafe & Grill. If a family is going through a hard time, we want to be there to help.
A Milestone for Growth
The Lindenhurst location is key to our future success. We've dedicated most of the space to a large kitchen, which we plan to use as a commissary to support all our future stores across the NY Metro area. We even built custom bread ovens to ensure we can provide fresh sajj and pita bread every day for our restaurant and for local families to enjoy at home.
